Tajah Smith is a young PR professional from Houston, Texas. She is currently a senior majoring in journalism with a concentration in public relations and a minor in communications. Tajah expects to graduate from the University of North Texas in May 2026, and she plans to pursue a career in nonprofit communication.

Hi, my name is Tajah Smith, and I am a student at the University of North Texas. I am studying public relations and minoring in communications. I have always had a passion for storytelling – one that started in childhood, when I wrote short stories and shared them with classmates, sparking joy and excitement with every page.
Over the years, I’ve discovered that my love for writing goes beyond fiction. I’m driven by the power of words to shape narratives, connect people, and influence perception. That’s what led me to pursue a career in public relations. I wanted to work in a field where I could use my storytelling skills to craft compelling, authentic messages that resonate with audiences. My goal is to help others tell their stories in meaningful ways – stories that inform, inspire, and leave a lasting impression.
